Gulf Waters Beach Front RV Resort

Stayed here for two weeks in our fifth wheel trailer. We loved this place. The staff is so very friendly. It is just a short walk and you are on the beach. They have activities. My wife attended a water color paint class. She enjoyed it very much. They have a small workout area with a machine, free weight barbells, a stationary bike and treadmill. This place is clean and quiet. We can't recommend it enough.

Gulf Waters Beachfront RV Resort is our 136th stop and stayed for 4 weeks. Overall I would rate a 4.8 and is in the top 10% of our places we have stayed. We had excellent communication before our arrival as well as ongoing communication while there. The front office staff were excellent and appreciated the guys helping us to our site. We had an issue and they were there to fix it before I walked back from the office. Great landscaping with ponds as well as excellent pads and a variety of site types to choose from. We chose a pretty basic one but the front of the rig faced the pond with easy access to the beach. The amenities were quite nice and there were numerous activities ranging from pet photos with Santa (and hot dogs) to bingo and a band. And getting mail was a breeze. During our time here, the park upgraded to 56 digital cable TV channels and 5G broadband internet service which has significantly higher speed during the day and has been consistent. Connectivity (8:00 pm on a Saturday night): Verizon 2.54 down/4.67 up; T-Mobile 1.55 down/0.13 up; Park WiFi 23.0 down/1.76 up

Stayed in a RV site, it was absolutely the most beautiful site and RV park. Service was beyond exceptional. We were calmly and professionally backed into our RV site, what an ease!! Being on the beach, having a pool and wonderful food so close was just perfect. Gulf Waters Beach Front RV Resort is what all RV Resorts want to be. Perfection coupled with excellent service and extreme value for your hard earned dollars. Wow and Wow again, this place exceeded all expectations and I hope everyone can come experience the best of the best.

This place came recommended to me by my Texas RV camping group on Facebook. We've never stayed at an RV resort before, so decided to give it a try. This place is first class! Love the resort! Love that all of the sites are individually owned decorated and upgraded with things like outdoor furniture, palapas, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and/or firepits. Loved the helpful staff! Loved that we were moved to a site closer to the boardwalk at the last minute that the staff member said she liked better than the site that we had. Loved that this resort is immaculate and well kept. Loved that the bathrooms and showers were very clean. The only reason that I didn't give it five plus stars was because of their affiliation with Port A Beach Buggies. Port A was recommended to me for a beach buggy by the resort employee at the time of booking my site because they deliver and pick the buggies up. It wasn't until we had a problem with our buggy the first night and were berated, disrespected, yelled at, and called liars by Port A's owner Scott, that we were offered several other beach buggy companies by the resort. When we complained to the Gulfwaters manager, she said she was sorry and explained that Scott "can" be difficult and that she spoke with him about our case, and there was really nothing else she could do because they were the only company who delivers and picks up. After our encounter with Scott, we looked at a lot of reviews for Port A, and the good reviews came from people who dealt with the other employees, or who never had a problem with their buggy. All the negative reviews came from those who had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with Scott. So... I highly recommend this beautiful and classy resort, but just know there are other buggy companies out there if you choose to rent one. And if you do end up with a Port A Beach Buggy, you've been warned!

If you're looking for a RV Resort in Port A and there's a spot open here, stop looking and just book it!!! We LOVED our stay here. The resort was beautiful. We were in site 441 and there was a nice breeze coming off the pond so it was cooler. The furniture and palpa were great for cooking and hanging out. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. Honestly every site in this resort is nice. They take excellent care of the grounds. The staff is friendly and so helpful. We had a couple of small issues (internet down & wasp nest) and they were at our site within 5 minutes of me calling to get it fixed. There is a private boardwalk to the beach. I do suggest renting a golf cart so it's easier to get your stuff to the beach, and because it's fun to cruise around on! 😀 Can't wait to go back!

We stayed here for the first time a week ago for 10 days. This is by far the nicest RV Resort/Park we have ever stayed it. This is an actual Resort. Most other places around Port A pack in the campers and call themselves a resort. Gulf Waters is beautiful, very well kept, very clean. The staff are out all day long making sure the place is manicured, they even rake the beach out front every more. The pool and hot tub was crystal clear and clean. Its a little pricy compared to others in town but you get so much more for your money. We had site 332, it is a very nice site but the spacing was hard with our 42' 5th wheel, it was a little tricky to find the right spot to be spaced correctly between the connections and the palapa that is in a little bit of a bad spot. We were told the site has a new owner has the site and will improve it. We made it work and had a wonderful time.
